Our Leadership

Nathan joined IG Wealth Management in October of 1998 as a consultant. His work ethic and professionalism helped excel him to various management positions within IG, including Branch Manager in Edmonton and Red Deer for over 10 years. He returned to being a Consultant in 2018 and his dedication to clients, their families and helping them with their financial goals is the foundation of the practice. He is a supporter of minor hockey in Red Deer, a regular presenter on CTV Morning News and Alberta PrimeTime, and IG Wealth Management’s Red Deer location Consultant of the Year for 2019.

Nathan and his wife Jolin enjoy spending time with their three sons in their free time.

Devon was born and raised in Red Deer and after graduating from the University of Lethbridge Management Degree program with a major in Finance, he started his career in the Financial Services Industry. With over 10 years of experience, Devon has held various roles in the industry from Financial Advisor to Investment Consultant and practiced all areas of financial planning with most recently specializing in investment planning. Helping clients and their families realize their financial ambitions is the driving force behind Devon’s move to IG Private Wealth Management.

Devon is active in the Red Deer community, volunteering with the Piper Creek Optimist Club, Alberta Lacrosse Referees Association, as well as the Canadian Cancer Society.

In his free time, Devon enjoys exploring the outdoors, gardening, and playing lacrosse.

Ryker is a recent graduate of the University of Alaska –Fairbanks School of Management, with a Bachelor of Business Administration, which he attended on an athletics scholarship. The skills and talents Ryker has as a hockey player, translate well to the world of finance. He is a team player who is committed, learns quickly, and is a great addition to the team at Nathan Giesbrecht & Associates.

When not at work, Ryker enjoys sports, playing and watching, trying out new craft beers and trying new dishes out in the kitchen with his girlfriend.
